A mobile phone recording of a jalousie flapping in a window at a library. It made an irresistible sound. The recording technique, or something else, added a glitchy extra sound. Very welcome! the sound is edited in audacity. The original sound was in mono, and i wanted some stereo effects. It’s a 6 second loop.
Recorded inside an organ, stepping on old wood floor, creaking sound, room acoustics very present. Faint sound of clothes and steps also audible. M-s recording: m on left channel, s on right.
I recorded this nice stereo sound of children playing at my nearby park. You can hear the steady squeak of the swingset in this recording. Lots of voices and children. Recorded with: beyerdynamic mc 930 mics, sound devices 702t.
This is a recording of autumn rain falling down and pouring through a drain pipe outside my bedroom window. It is a very pleasant sound if i may say so, and can be used for many soundscape or atmosphere oriented things. Recorded with zoom h1.
Field recording on top of a swiss alp where the ski lift ends. Repetitive mechanical sound from the lift, a plain, a bird, ski and snowboard sounds, some voices.
This sound was recorded in cologne cathedral, december 7 2010(peterglocke,pretiosa,speciosa, ursula, aveglocke and kapitelsglocke). Videotaped and edited to make it sound(record it the video myself with a blackberry phone!).
A relatively mellow and at times eerie sounding street noises of a stroll through east village, nyc. Also edited with a little snip and for a little loudness.
